Diverse Learning Needs Programs
Northpine Christian College is committed to focusing on and developing its students’ skills and abilities —particularly their love for writing as a form of self-expression—and their desire to achieve to their God-given potential. Creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment – in accordance with the High Reliability Schools Framework within which we operate – is a priority for both staff and students.

In order to cater to a variety of learners from high achieving students to those with learning difficulties and disabilities, Mrs Gabriela Davies, the Secondary Leading Learning Coordinator, in cooperation with other passionate and caring teachers and NCC alumni, has implemented several initiatives which offer varied, tailored support at various times and for different reasons.

The three main programs are Academic Success Peer Mentoring, High Achieving Students, and Growing Learning and Academic Development. Please see the specific details below.


Academic Success Peer Mentoring Program

Each Tuesday afternoon from 3:30pm – 4:30pm, Mrs Davies as well as former high achieving NCC students lead an initiative called Academic Success Peer Mentoring Program.
